This week children will learn about the Sixth Commandment.
In the Sixth Commandment God instructs us not to murder but to respect and protect human life.
There are some key points which the children will learn from the Sixth Commandment:
1. Human life is precious because everyone is made in the image of God
2. The Bible says that the value of a man is equal to a man and the value of a man is greater than the whole world
3. We must be aware that anger, envy and hatred are the sinful root of murder
4. We should practice to love, do good, show compassion and forgiveness to others
May this lesson remind us to respect and love human life: others and also our own selves.
