Ringkasan:
When Adam and Eve had sinned, God promised that one day there would be a descendant of Eve who will crush the head of Satan and win over Sin.
Outside the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve started family and had two sons; Cain and Abel. They taught their sons to worship God.
Both Cain and Abel brought offerings to God. God was pleased by Abel’s offering but God did not accept Cain’s offering because he did not give with his heart. Out of jealousy, hatred and anger, Cain hit Abel to his death. God punished Cain to be a fugitive. From human’s point of view, now Adam and Eve had no more descendants to continue their line to have a Saviour as promised.
However God is an eternal God and therefore He does not change, He is faithful to all His promises. God had given Adam and Eve a new son, Seth from whom a Saviour would be borned. God is able and will always fulfill His promises.
