Ringkasan:
This week children learned that the Law that God has gave to us is good and it shows that the giver of the Law Himself is good.
Disobeying the commandment given by God means that we have done wrong and sin unto God, and we learned that we are unable to follow God perfectly because we are sinners.
Understanding the Law also means that we realize that we often disobey God and understand that we need a Savior and God has done the unimaginable which is sending His Son, Jesus to live as a human, fulfil the Law perfectly, and paid for our sins on the Cross.
Children is reminded that the 10 Commandments was given to Israel after they are being saved from Egypt.
This means that we are not obeying God to be saved but we are saved first and only then we can obey God.
We are still studying the 10 Commandments because this is how God wants us to live.
Children also learned that we can still fall into sin and when we do, we should not run away from God but we need to confess our sins, ask Jesus for forgiveness and ask Him for guidance.
