On the same day that Jesus rose from the dead, two men were traveling from Jerusalem to Emmaus. They were joined by a 'stranger'. Three of them walked and discussed about the wonderful things that Jesus did until He was crucified. The two men were so sad. There were two women who said they had seen two angels who told them that Jesus was alive, but no one had seen Jesus.
When the men get to Emmaus and join in for evening meal, the 'stranger' broke and blessed the bread. Immediately that moment, God showed the men that the 'stranger' who was sitting there with them was Jesus.
Jesus then vanished, and the two men returned to Jerusalem where they pronounce to the other 11 disciples that the Lord has risen!
