God Called Abraham. Abraham left certain roots behind in Ur and Haran, but He was far from rootless. His roots were deep and strong in the promises of God and his covenant relationship with God . Abraham had decided for his household that they were heading jn one direction, Pleasing GOD.
Abraham trusted and obeyed God. God promised to bless Him
1. To make him a great nation (look at the stars, so shall your offspring be)
2. Promise Land
3. Special blessing (one of the descendant is Jesus Christ)
