Ringkasan:
There was a separation between God and man since the fall therefore God gave the Israelites the sacrificial system for them to be able to live in His presence.
Sacrifice is not new system that God introduced to Israelites but God wants to make it clear the purpose and the correct way to give sacrifice.
There are 5 sacrifices that God asked Moses to teach the Israelites: Sin Offering, Guilt Offering, Burnt Offering, Grain Offering and Peace/Fellowship Offering.
The requirements of the sacrifice points to Jesus as the perfect Lamb of God.
The sacrificial system teach us that God accept sinners who come in faith thru the atoning sacrifice. We can come to God thru Christ who had died on the cross to atone our sins.
God has forgive our sins and restore our relationship with Him therefore we must offer ourselves as the living sacrifice to God.
Ayat Hafalan:
Romans 12:1
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
